Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping was an amazing place to take our travel trailer & family! We loved watching the sun set just over the Mackinaw Bridge. Our campsite was only 2 away from beaches of Lake Huron which made for an awesome view every time we stepped outside.

We enjoy taking camping trips to new locations and sometimes even places we’ve been before on our journey. The past 2 summers we have had the privilege of going on vacation with my parents and 2 of my aunts and uncles. We love sharing with them the beautiful landscapes and sites in our beloved America. We believe this too is part of our mission.

We started camping in 2017 – prior to buying our travel trailer we enjoyed flying to destinations, renting a car (usually a convertible) and road tripping our way from city to city! Since we have been camping, we have fallen in love with this way of traveling and vacations! Our goal is to have a “driver” aka motor home in the next year or two! We’re currently doing our homework and will keep you posted!

The campground is very family friendly with nice wide campsites. There is a pool, game room, camp store and fire pits along the beaches of Lake Huron! Most everyone has bicycles to ride through the campground and if you don’t – never fear – they have bike rentals too!

We enjoy getting to spend time with our youngest, Devin! But we realize he probably won’t be camping with us much longer-since he’s now 14 and a working man. Our big kids are all so busy with their lives that we haven’t gotten to take them on a camping trip yet!

I highly recommend Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping for a great RV vacation in Upper Michigan. Oh, they do have cabins in case you don’t yet have a camper! The weather in July was simply amazing.

We can’t wait to go back…but will! There are so many other places on our “to do” list!
